Admirals log:
It is a time of turmoil and death. The great and infallible Emperor toils to secure the Empire against threats throughout the galaxy. One such threat has arisen on the planet Sullust. An artifact of immense power has been discovered and every major faction is rushing to claim it. Intelligence reports that throughout the Empire, rebels are gathering their forces and rushing everything they have to the planet. In addition, former separatists have discovered and refitted hidden separatist ships on Sullust and other nearby former separatist strongholds.
Finally, our top intelligence officer in the region, Steven Bothanis, has assured us that he has seen Anakin Skywalker and many other heroes of the Republic manning old ships and star fighters. I have been assured by Lord Vader that this is not the case and is simply a rebel faction trying to stir up support. I believe he intends to meet with Bothanis at his home to sort that out. Most troubling is reports that there have been ground forces in the region have been openly attacked in an effort to stall the fleets deployment and in some cases to seize planetary defenses. I expect to have minimal reinforcements as I make my way to Sullust. In any case it does not change the fact that I have been tasked with acquiring the artifact from whoever holds it for the safety and security of the empire.
